2022.06.22 Brønnoysund to Bardufoss

Wednesday, 22nd June 2022 - BRØNNØYSUND/Brønnøy to BARDUFOSS 

Two days at Bardufoss- winds are too strong – very real risk/danger of wind-shear especially for a small plane like our little Cherokee!

Lovely Airbnb with ,ozef and Marta. Jozef was a keen fisherman and was very happy to tell us all about the big fish he had caught!!

Walked up the hill to where we could see the airport from high up, and to the lake which we flew over on the approach into Bardufoss . 

Lots of planning and route options were discussed to see how we could get up north, get fuel, fly around the north cape and avoid all the dodgy airport opening hours!!! (Most of which are basically shut on a Saturday!)  

We came up with a new plan using our actual Norwegian maps!
