2022.06.24a Bardufoss to Alta

Friday, 24th June 2022 - BARDUFOSS to Alta 

Positioning flight to get us ready to fly under the midnight sun!!!  

Flight out of Bardufoss and around past Tromsø was bumpy as hell!! But we did everything right to avoid wind-shear for our tiny little plane!!! 

Quick stop at Alta to get fuel… winds were still really strong through the valleys, so we changed from our original plan of going to Lakselv, and went to Alta instead, as it was a simpler journey and (importantly) there was AvGas!! 

Lovely stopover at Alta, in their little airport hut… had some food in the late evening sun, spoke to the nice flying club people and even had some freshly made waffles! ...and then got ready for our late-night flight!! 

Take off into the sunny horizon after 10 p.m. local time!!!
