Short stunning flight and a quick taxi hop down to the next island along the peninsula, we made it to Lofoten beach-surf-camp!!! AKA - paradise!
Tent pitched in the sand by the sea!! So, it’s time for a beer!!! Charge some devices and ourselves in the sun…
Then what else is there to do when the surf is flat…. Go for a SUP in the Arctic Circle of course!!!! One of the most beautiful paddles ever!!! Flat bluey-green sea, stunning mountains all around and even some snow still lingering!!!
We saw a cheeky seal, millions of baby jellyfish (ick!!) and hundreds of big jellyfish (both incredible and uber ick!!) And some curious sheep too, staring at us from the shore!!
Another well-earned beer at the beach bar, followed by our yummy camp food dinner at our sea view tent, as the sun (didn’t) set!!
Took in the views for hours and spotted some dolphins playing in the distance!!!
