Inch by inch, green turns to yellow, and yellow turns to orange 

Minutes pass, and hours flow by, as leaves float effortlessly to their resting place

The sun continues to warm the air and caress the rugged mountains with a golden glow

Nights draw in sooner, allowing for the shimmering waters to be replaced by the shimmering lights of the cityscape

As summer turns to autumn, and the unexpectedness of winter in a new land looms,
